Retro Trek with The Caramel Apples podcast celebrates all things 70s & 80s pop culture and explores how this fond nostalgia affects our lives. We travel back in time to revisit retro segments that ingrained itself into our hearts. Step into our orchard where you can catch your weekly dose of quick witted commentary on the most cherished generation markers of our time. This podcast makes all of us part of the story. We are a specific tribe with specific fascination & broad curiosity about all things retro. Our imagination is our playground. We are absolutely nuts about the key time we grew up in! It’s one of the best topics to discuss. Back in the 70s & 80s, we experienced the best of everything pop-culture in the way of movies, cartoons, television shows, food and snacks, novelty, items, toys, etc. With the popularity of tech and social media, it’s just amazing how we can literally go back in time and talk about the very things in the way of nostalgia that shaped us and easily warmed our hearts. Our living through this epic time and having a front row seat perspective gives us the jet fuel to share these favorite retro topics & ignites fascinating conversations with our generation and beyond
