The best podcasts for daily variety

Who am I?

I am a working chef in chicago, interested in learning, reading, science, sci-fi and humor. I use podcasts as a way to make my commute tolerable. Ditto folding laundry, washing dishes, etc. I thrive on variety. I want the next show I listen to to be different. I get bored so easily that if I don't have a different topic to choose, I will lose interest INSTANTLY.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

My show details the resume of a chef, from lowly 14 year-old cook (me) throughout the entire career. I live for 3 things; cooking, my family, and Star Wars.

What is my podcast playlist about?

I want to make sure that when I open my podcatcher, I have a variety of topics/genres/voices to choose from. My interests vary wildly, and this list reflects that.

The podcasts I picked and why

1. Stuff They Don't Want You To Know

4. Imagine Audio: Big Sugar

Why this podcast?

This shit is scary. As a culinary professional, it's easy to take individual ingredients for granted, not think about them too much. There is a real human toll to some of these pantry items.
