Who am I?

I’m a voice advocate, TEDx speaker and mom of 3 who believes in the lifechanging magic of #listening. I love great conversations and building relationships. I believe that everyone has a story to tell if we only let them. Empowering others to use their voice to make an impact is pne of my greatest passions. That‘s why I am running coaching programmes for podcasters from all over the globe. I am currently based in gorgeous Vienna/Austria where I‘m from. After living abroad for 13 years I am still finding my way around in my new old home but I feel like I am slowly but surely arriving. I grew up believing that this world should be one where we all have equal opportunities, where there are no wars and no hate. Then I grew up. Studying Sinology and starting my career in a think tank researching China‘s role in the world and international relations i hoped to make a contribution for better understanding and less conflicts. Then I grew up again. I questioned if my work did matter. I began to doubt that positive change was possible in today‘s world. That‘s when I started my first podcast #impact - a podcast about stuff that matters. I wanted to speak to people that did not just wait for others to change the world but that just did it themselves. And there it was. Hearing their stories, I felt it. That spark. That hope. That wish to make this world - as tacky as it sounds - a better place. And believing that I could too.

The podcasts I picked and why

1. Live Wide Awake - Sustainability & Conscious Leadership

Why this podcast?

Steph is the voice that I always look foward to hearing, because she brings her full self to the conversation. Her guests are bringing lots of perspectives that illustrate that making an impact is not a one size fits all but that it rather takes curiosity to explore what matters to us both as an individual but also within society.

Are you ready to escape the matrix and lead your most conscious life? Confronting the truth can be a deep, twisted, insightful, and sometimes painful journey. But with the state of our world today, it is one we must embark on to save the planet and ourselves. On this podcast, we will continue that journey together with your host Steph L Dickson. We’ll be talking about climate change and consciousness, sustainability and spirituality. Taking fascinating, yet sometimes complicated topics and breaking them down into digestible and actionable chunks, so that we can live wide awake.

4. Green Dreamer: Seeding change towards collective healing, sustainability, regeneration

Why this podcast?

This is the podcast I listen to when I need a motivation boost to remember that yes, I should keep dreaming that change can be possible. That it is worth to keep educating ourselves, to collaborate, to have deep conversations. Kamea is a great conversationalist and I am grateful for the thought provoking stories she curates for her listeners.

Green Dreamer explores our paths to collective healing, biocultural revitalization, and true abundance and wellness *for all*. Curious to unravel the dominant narratives that stunt our imaginations and called to spark radical dreaming of what could be, we share conversations with an ever-expanding range of thought leaders — each inspiring us to deepen and broaden our awareness in their own ways. Together, let's learn what it takes to thrive — in every sense of the word.
