Who am I?
I'm an audio fiction writer, and my favourite genre is Sci-Fi. I've recently wrote and produced my first fiction podcast, now in it's 2nd season, and I hope to create even more in the future. I love time travel stories, from Back to the Future and the long running series Doctor Who. They make for some clever plots, and it turns out there a lot of great ideas in audio fiction podcasts right now to do with Time Travel.
My Show
What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?
My podcast is about an every day internet tech support worker, who can speak to people, online, in different times. In Season 1 he talks to someone in 1999. In Season 2, he talks to somebody in the future, in the year 2052. It's a simple premise, but is filled with cosmic anomalies and relatable characters, like similar shows I love!

1. Midnight Burger
Why this podcast?
The closest podcast I can think of most similar to Doctor Who. Each episode is different. Could be any time in history. Any location. Really clever, and original, stuff.

"A must-listen indie podcast." - The Guardian "A beautiful, kind, wonderful story." - BBC Radio When Gloria took a waitressing job at a diner outside of Phoenix, she didn't realize she was now an employee of Midnight Burger, a time-traveling, dimension-spanning diner. Every day Midnight Burger appears somewhere new in the cosmos along with it's staff: a galactic drifter, a rogue theoretical physicist, a sentient old-timey radio, and some guy named Caspar. No one knows who built Midnight Burger or how it works, but when it appears there's always someone around who could really use a cup of coffee. At the nexus of all things, there is a diner. We open at 6.

Why this podcast?
Really well written, and acted, series. Impressive utilisation of the late 90's/00's era, juxtaposed with emails from the future. Very similar vibe I went for with my own podcast!

3. From Now
Why this podcast?
Not time travel, in the traditional sense, but probably in the most realistic way if physics has anything to say! Such a clever premise about twin brothers, one who goes missing in space (Richard Madden) and returns 35 years later, but exactly the same age as when he left. He reunites with his, now 60+ year old brother (Brian Cox) Now that's time travel!!!!

Most time travel stories are quite serious and mature, so it was refreshing to hear this teen/young adult take on the genre.

Still listening to this, but it's great so far. Nice to see a female-led time travel story, and the steampunk genre is welcome a la The Time Machine/War of the Worlds.
