Who am I?
A fellow Tennessee girl whose birthday is only three days apart from Taylor herself. We grew up with Taylor and Teardrops on My Guitar as fellow 15-year-olds who felt like they finally had an artist write about their life. Then we grew up and watched the music evolve, Taylor shift, and even go deep into hiding. I'm a best-selling author and avid fan who can find a lyric from a Taylor song to be in every situation. For the Taylor fan or Taylor hater, this podcast series will educate you and at the very least stop pushing the misogynistic narrative that she "only writes about breakups". Sit down and listen.
My Show
What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?
Taylor gives big witch vibes and as a fellow practicing witch and Sagitarrius - there are too many similarities in how she operates using Astrology and Numerology to not be Metaphysical AF!
What is my podcast playlist about?
Taylor Swift and the real shift happening as the biggest global pop star keeps rising no matter what Kim tries to do. Karma is a god!
1. The Cult of Taylor Swift
Why this podcast?
Now this podcast has a second part to this episode that became the most listened-to episode of the entire pod! Part 1 goes over the fandom while Part 2 addresses more of the cult/witch rumors. This dives deep into the "culty" obsession with easter eggs and how that has quickly devolved into her sexuality, her clothing, and why easter eggs are consuming the entire fandom.
The Cult of Taylor Swift
Sounds Like A Cult

I was never good at telling jokes but the punchline goes: If Taylor told her Swifties to kill a man, they would. They would kill a man for Taylor, because her music means *that* much to them. But the "cult" of country-pop sensation Taylor Swift is not just about the music. It's about the Swiftie community, the rituals, the beliefs, the aesthetic, and (of course) Taylor's cult of personality. This extreme fandom definitely seems classically culty, but is it dangerous just because it's fanatical? That's the question on Amanda and Isa's agenda today, and they've solicited pop culture connoisseur Jill Gutowitz, author of the essay collection GIRLS CAN KISS NOW, to help them figure it out.

2. Taylor Swift: Horrifying Stalkers
Why this podcast?
When being a fan goes to far...tracking her jet, stalking her home, and results of incidents that explain why Taylor Swift carries an intensive wound kit with her at all times. One person drove over 900 miles to deliver a letter to his "love" and it did not end all too well. From the Big Machine days to her current life, with notes on her masters, this is a fantastic podcast to understand why Taylor moves the way she moves.
Taylor Swift: Horrifying Stalkers
DISGRACELAND

Taylor Swift has a list of stalkers longer than her stadium tour setlists. One drove over 900 miles to hand-deliver his “love” letters to her then-record-label, Big Machine Records. Others have showed up to her homes bearing rope, lock picks, and tools to break her windows. The threats on her life have become so persistent that her security team once installed facial recognition software at the venues she performed in, specifically to distinguish her stalkers from her fans. While making some of the most recognizable pop songs in music history, Taylor Swift also became one of the most recognizable women in the celebrity sphere – a title that on many occasions has nearly cost her life.
This episode contains themes that may be disturbing to some listeners, including descriptions of stalking and sexual assault.
