Potterhead married Harry Potter Virgin. After finishing the series together in Seasons 1-7, they're now tackling the larger, broader, and more complicated discussions about the Wizarding World and how it intersects with our own. Weird impressions, terrible singing, and (still) many tangents abound.

Do you need help finding a scholarship or are you struggling with the application process? The Africademics 'Scholarships 101' podcast will teach you everything you need to know in order to successfully find and apply for scholarships. It was created specifically for students, graduates and young professionals in and from Africa, but most of the information we provide is equally applicable to scholarship seekers and applicants from other parts of the world.
Africademics is a scholarship platform and community for students, graduates and scholars in and from Africa. Our goal is to improve access to scholarships and fellowships, and to offer support with the scholarship search and application process.
Module 1 (the first six episodes) provides an introduction to the different types of scholarships and funding programmes available, ranging from undergraduate scholarships to travel grants and academic competitions.
Module 2 will show you where to find reliable and accurate scholarship information, and explains different strategies for staying up to date with the latest opportunities.
Module 3 will unpack the eligibility criteria for different types of scholarships and explains the difference between 'soft' and 'hard' application criteria.
Module 4 will explore the pros, cons and practicalities of studying abroad and discusses what you should consider as a prospective international student.
Module 5 will provide an overview of the application process for scholarships, including the timeline, considerations and practical tips and tricks.
Module 6 will take a closer look at the typical application documents for scholarships and teaches you how to prepare them.
The production of this podcast was funded by a grant from the German Foundation for Engagement and Volunteering (Deutsche Stiftung für Engagement und Ehrenamt) under the '100xDigital' programme.

I'm just getting started !!!
After a major upheaval in life, I put a rucksack on my back and walked 615 km to Santiago de Compostella looking for an answer to the big question, "What next?". Now I am at University reading Theology, Philosophy and Ethics. I live in student accommodation and have a part-time job at the local Cathedral. I couldn't be happier and truly feel like (at the ripe old age of sixty) I'm just getting started.
Join me on my journey and maybe you can teach me a thing or two about life, too.
