Mixing a cocktail of philosophy, theology, and spirituality.
We're a pastor and a philosopher who have discovered that sometimes pastors need philosophy, and sometimes philosophers need pastors. We tackle topics and interview guests that straddle the divide between our interests.
Who we are:
Randy Knie (Co-Host) - Randy is the founding and Lead Pastor of Brew City Church in Milwaukee, WI. Randy loves his family, the Church, cooking, and the sound of his own voice. He drinks boring pilsners.
Kyle Whitaker (Co-Host) - Kyle is a philosophy PhD and an expert in disagreement and philosophy of religion. Kyle loves his wife, sarcasm, kindness, and making fun of pop psychology. He drinks childish slushy beers.
Elliot Lund (Producer) - Elliot is a recovering fundamentalist. His favorite people are his wife and three boys, and his favorite things are computers and hamburgers. Elliot loves mixing with a variety of ingredients, including rye, compression, EQ, and bitters.

You know when you're at the bar after a long day and the cybersecurity conversations are just soooo much better than in the office? 😎
You should give a listen or watch to our podcast series with my fellow cybersecurity pro of many years and long time friend, Paul Marco.
Paul is a long time Cyber Ops expert and Evan is the same from the Cyber Engineering and Architecture side of the house; together we have created world class cyber programs for our prior organizations.
Podcast theme:
- Random cybersecurity topic picked out of a fishbowl each week (we don't know which will be selected, so it is very genuine and unscripted conversations each week)
- We enjoy a tasty adult beverage while filming the conversation, just like when you're talking at the bar after work, to have a more casual conversation (I'm partial to a Woodford Old Fashioned as the norm)
Note: ⚠overly sensitive ears: do not listen 😉
- Depending on the topic, episodes have ranged from 25ish - 55ish minutes in length
- We share stories from our past experiences, select pieces of wisdom that we've learned over our combined 40ish years leading the cybersecurity programs in highly regulated, enterprise environments, and other opinions / potentially hot takes on the topics selected each week
We will be releasing a new episode every week on Tuesday at 4 pm eastern and links to them can always be found at https://www.cahpodcast.com.

This podcast consists of two types of shows...
1) Trivia w/ The Padre. It is your "Extraordinary Form" bar trivia. Fr. Asks the questions, hopefully you have the answers.
"This show creatively crafts questions that spark discussion, laughs, and quizzical looks all while fostering friendship and community. The questions cover a wide range of topics from religion to pope culture to history to language to chemistry and more! The Catholic Faith is a rich grab-bag of endless reasons for joy (and great trivia material)! So grab your favorite monastic beer, pull up a chair, and challenge a friend to this week's episode." (taken from a listener review)
2) Coffee Talk. Fr. Brad's homilies or other interviews and pondering about where the Faith meets the world.
Thank you and God Bless!
Welcome to Whip Cream Salmon! Buckle up, fellow service industry survivors, because behind these kitchen doors, former line cooks are ready to dredge up some of the weirdest and wildest tales of restaurant life. This ain't your mama's Michelin-starred experience; this is a pirate ship on a booze cruise to the Island of Misfit Toys. So, grab a lukewarm beer, a scoop of today's family meal surprise, and get ready to relive the glory (and some of the horror) of those long, hard-fought service industry nights. Hosted by Brian Bastanza & Ronnie Sanchez.
