Who am I?

We are a team of podcasting entrepreneurs who love the art and science of podcasting, so we decided to create a podcast dedicated to helping other podcasters, entrepreneurs, and business owners create their own successful podcast. We love bringing together experienced podcasters, industry experts, and trailblazers who share their knowledge and wisdom on all aspects of podcasting. We like to discuss innovative approaches to grow your listener base and engage your audience, essential equipment and software, content strategy, methods to generate revenue, and the latest industry trends and developments, plus a lot more. Most of all, we love to have FUN and podcasting lets us do that every single day! To be successful podcasters, we believe you should be a fan first. That's what we are. We are huge fans of a variety of different podcasts and we learn from every type of podcast we listen to in an effort to bring those lessons to our audience.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

Our podcast is "the podcast about building a successful podcast." By producing our own weekly podcast, we're learning valuable lessons that we aim to share with our audience so they can build their own successful show. At the end of the day, we believe that when we all win, we all win. Being podcast superfans ourselves, we felt it only appropriate to share the shows that made us into superfans.

What is my podcast playlist about?

Being podcast superfans ourselves, we felt it only appropriate to share the shows that made us into superfans. Our team is made of a variety of passionate podcast fans from a vast array of different genres, so we thought sharing a playlist that shows off our eclectic tastes would be fun!

5. Dan Carlin's Hardcore History

Why this podcast?

For the history buffs on our team, not many shows bring the depth of knowledge that Dan Carlin's Hardcore History brings to the table. These episodes require a great deal of commitment, but there is no doubt in our minds that you'll walk away from each episode with a plethora of information you came without. The perfect kind of podcast for a road trip!

In "Hardcore History" journalist and broadcaster Dan Carlin takes his "Martian", unorthodox way of thinking and applies it to the past. Was Alexander the Great as bad a person as Adolf Hitler? What would Apaches with modern weapons be like? Will our modern civilization ever fall like civilizations from past eras? This isn't academic history (and Carlin isn't a historian) but the podcast's unique blend of high drama, masterful narration and Twilight Zone-style twists has entertained millions of listeners.
