Who am I?

My name is Jacob and I am an award-winning speaker, marketer and podcaster with a deep love and respect for video games. I don't just love to play video games though, I also love the culture, history and stories surrounding them. A lot of my content focused on the context of video games, not just the stories and gameplay found within them. Ever since I was five years old sitting in front my parents' tube TV playing games like Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Yoshi's Island and Kirby Super Star, I have been enamoured by games. The stories they can tell, the gameplay you can work through and the teamwork you can experience, there's no medium like video games. I have dedicated FAR too many hours to games over the years and have been an avid video game podcast listener for the better part of 15 years.

What is my podcast playlist about?

My playlist features shows where the hosts care deeply about the context of video games, from AAA to indie. Each of these shows is much more than "hey, what are you playing"; in each episode, they focus on specific topics while keeping it fun.
