The best podcasts for supporting independent creators

I LOVE CULTURE! Sorry, but I can’t tell a lie, I love culture and I love having a gossip about it (or as I say, discussing contemporary events). I have my own podcast, Bitches With Beards where me and my bestie discuss the comings and goings of the week over a glass or ten of wine, aiming our sharp tongues at all things gay and fabulous! I’ve worked as a media producer for almost twenty years so I know the hard work that goes into making a solid product. I’m not an expert, no one is, but I know love when I hear it so let’s celebrate some success!

I co-present a new podcast, Bitches With Beards, where best friends and professional homosexuals Max and Daniel get together to discuss the week in culture over a glass of wine. We’re not big names trying to promote ourselves, we’re doing this because we have fun for 90 minutes and love the fact we can make a product out of it. This list is other people in the same situation, having a a good time!

I’ve only been in the “Podern Family” for a few months but these podcasts really stood out to me. They’re funny, informative and celebrate culture and I think are really worth a listen. The bigger ‘casts may keep this medium going but these are the shows that keep it alive!
