The best podcasts for Star Wars Fans Who Actually Like Star Wars!

My name is Ricky and I am the producer and one of the members of The Positively Star Wars Senate Podcast! As a kid in the 80's, I didn't spend my time riding bikes with my friends I was too busy enjoying content like Masters of the Universe, Voltron, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers and Star Wars. I had every MOTU figure, Every TMNT figure and vehicle. I collected comics, played Atari then Sega and yes I went to see the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Band Coming Out of Their Shells tour (google it). As a legally identifyable adult now.. not much has changed. The Star Wars Special Editions and Prequels reignited my Star Wars fandom in the mid 90's and I falll deeper down the fandom hole each year. The live action Marvel content has been a dream come true and although I am nit too big on the DCEU, I am still happy that this once niche of entertainment that had us labeled dorks and geeks, is now the head cornerstone of entertainment world wide. Of course no fandom is free from negativity. All, especially Star Wars has had its share of it. I try not to live in that space. I fortunately have enjoyed all the Star Wars content released (I'm even a huge Jar Jar fan!) and all the Marvel content. My TMNT and Batman fandom is still there despite my lack of interest in new iterations but I let those enjoy it that do and I will never troll anyone for it. That's my stance. Just be happy and enjoy what makes you smile. Be kind to fellow fans and be accepting of all people. Our fandoms are what unites us and everything should be given a chance. I would have never thought that adult me would be a huge Pokemon fan and collector. Or that I would spend afternoons painting D&D figures and watching Sailor Moon with my daughter. Or that I would have a wife that would school me on Star Wars and Marvel lore and theories. When I'm not having fun with my family at Disneyland, I am behind the mic either creating music or recording podcasts with my friends. Or I'm playing Trios on Fortnite with my wife and daughter. Or I am eating Pizza... pizza is good. I guess thats why I'm still a TMNT Fan. All the while wearing a Star Wars T-Shirt! Have you ever started listening to a Star Wars podcast only to find yourself 5 minutes in and hearing someone just tearing it down? I will never understand why anyone would make a podcast about something they no longer liked or wasn't a fan of. I like hearing people enjoy the same things I do and having actually conversations about it. I don't want to hear someone rant about the thing I like or tell me why I shouldn't like something. I want to hear fellow fans break things down and expand my Star Wars knowledge. I was in diapers watching Star Wars. Ate 3PO's cereal, had stickers on the refrigerator. Wore out my VHS copies of the OT. I stood in line for Episode 1, 2 and 3. Watche the Clone Wars numerous times. Ate up Rebels and all the new films and shows. I read the books and play the games. I enjoy Star Wars 24/7 and I want to hear other people enjoy it too!

Imagine going to Star Wars Celebration or a comicon and seeing a group of fans sitting at a table having a great time talking Star Wars? That is how our show is. We catch up on our recent Star Wars endeavors and then we dive into some great conversations. We dont talk about fandom drama, behind the scenes politics or any of that negative stuff. We talk about content, and we do it without ranting or complaining and we have a great time!
