Who am I?

I'm a writer/ standup comedian living in Sligo, northwest Ireland. I create and record stories, mostly solo but I join up with other voice actors/ writers/ comedians whenever chance will have it. The stories and storytelling are unique -one listener said the recordings always put a smile on their face, which is the aim of the game here. The subject is simply something that I find fascinating about us humans -the ability to create and inhabit fantastical worlds ...plus for the most part the podcasts are just good craic (fun and games).

The podcasts I picked and why

1. Relic Radio Sci-Fi (old time radio)

Why this podcast?

Classic Sci-Fi from a golden age of audio, I reckon the storytelling here is probably as good as it gets -this curated collection is across the board brilliant (writing/ acting/ effects).

3. Chronscast - The Fantasy, Science Fiction & Horror Podcast

Why this podcast?

Am a bit biased here as I do some interval messing for the team but setting that aside this shows always provides a valuable insight into the world of Sci-Fi/ Fantasy writing. Produced by writers for writers. If you are a fan of the genre, or or writing -give it a go. (Note: As opposed to the other podcasts in this list, which come in under the half hour, this one goes long. But it has enough breaks to make it easy to listen in stages).
