Who am I?

I am a Filipino-American 30-something trying to find his way in this strange thing we call adult life. All the while, I find myself turning to the things that brought me comfort when I was a kid. As an only child with a single mom, I was practically raised by the TV. That may sound a little sad, but on the contrary, I have a lot of happy memories keeping up with all of my favorite shows. Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network were definitely my go-to's, but Disney Channel did plenty for me as well. Whether animated or live-action, these characters and their trials and tribulations felt incredibly real to me. As an adult today, there's something incredibly reassuring not only to revisit these shows I loved as a kid annd finding new ways to connect with these stories and characters I have loved for so many years.
