Who am I?
I write about thriving as a multi-passionate creator and how to get yourself to do scary things so you can live an extraordinary life. My goal is to make as many beautiful things as I can in my short time on this earth and I’m on a mission to help others do the same. If you want to write emails that people who AREN'T even related to you want to read, sign up for my newsletter here: www.jennieoconnor.com/damngoodemails And if you're in need of a pep talk, my upcoming book "Useful AF in a Zombie Apocalypse" will convince you that multi-passionates are capable of extraordinary greatness. ***Why I Chose This Subject*** Did you know this quote has a second half? A Jack-of-all-trades is a master of none . . . It does. And it's this: . . . but oftentimes better than a master of one. THAT is why I do what I do. Because someone somewhere decided to send those of us who can't choose only one thing the message that we aren't as good as specialists. And we've allowed that message to make us feel flaky and non-committal at best, or like big fat failures at worst. Multi-passionate minds are super powered; they can connect dots most people can't even see. Curiosity is a gift that creates deeper connections and leads to the world's greatest innovations. It IS possible to thrive as a multi-passionate entrepreneur, but it requires a new definition of success and permission to keep experimenting until you find the thing that makes you forget to eat and pee. I think multi-passionates would be useful AF in a zombie apocalypse. So let's stick together in case it ever comes to that!
