Who am I?
I've loved everything to do with comedy since seeing The Secret Policeman's Ball* a long, long, long time ago. Since then I've studied mime and physical theatre and done stand-up. Now I just write comedy. Silly surreal stuff, for Jelly Trumpet, a podcast about creativity. *Years later I entered a write a sketch premise in 140 characters (a tweet) for Ch4's Secret Policeman's Ball and won some CDs, a proud moment :-) I suppose all the rejections I've had for writing plays and sitcoms. I did get on the short list (top 50 scripts out of 5,086) in the BBC Finish a Sitcom competition, many years ago. I've also done stand-up, but didn't take to it as I wasn't quick enough. I've also written for a couple of stand-ups. One was Eddie Sidecar, the world's only living motorcycle impressionist.
