Who am I?
I am Brett "Htown Wheelhouse" Chancey I became a podcaster 5 years ago. After organically starting on my own podcast through the Anchor app, I was asked to join the Locked on Network. I have been one of two host of the Locked on Astros podcast. Our growth has been meteoric and the fun never stops. The only daily Astros podcast, we pride ourselves in the way we connect with our audience while giving a positive spin on all things Houston Astros. Since I joined we have gone from 100,000 downloads in 2020, to 1.3 million this past season, and this year we are out pacing last season. I have interviewed 20 plus players in the Astros system, both MLB and MILB. TV persoanlities from networks like ABC, CBS, and NBC, and MLB Network. From Big League players to World Series Champions. My goal is to bring Astros baseball to the world, and in a time such as this we have our critics and our fans. I think what we produce is second to none, and this has inspired me to soon launch my own podcast coming this summer. I am passionate about sports and baseball. It has always been a hobby and I enjoy the nuances of the games. How the imitate life, the highs and lows, victories and defeats. I have talked with industry professionals from scouts, to beat writers, from executives, to Coaches. I have been in contact with player development coaches as well heads of umpire associations.
