Who am I?

I'm Rick and I host Burn After Reading. am a true crime content creator bringing back ethics and empathy. I do this for free. Monetizing off the backs of victims and their families does not interest me. I chose this because I noticed a lot of true crime content creators treat their platform as entertainment while also getting crucial facts wrong. I want change that by giving an alternative. For those who want facts over false narratives.

What is my podcast playlist about?

It's about debunking popular narratives in true crime. Be it the West Memphis Three case, the alleged "unsolved" murder of Beverly Smith, etc.

The podcasts I picked and why

1. Burn After Reading

Why this podcast?

Because it's mine. I shatter conventional wisdom on true crime stories people think they know about. Especially past documentaries about the West Memphis Three and the alleged unsolved murder of Beverly Smith.

Tired of the misinformation and propaganda in current true crime reporting, podcasts and documetaries; Roberta Glass set out in 2018 to create a true crime podcast sourced directly from the court records and case files. Roberta's drive and curiosity to look more deeply into true crime cases has taken her to the courthouse where she covered to the NXIVM trial, Ghislaine Maxwell trial and Larry Ray trial as well as Jeffrey Epstein related hearings.
