Who am I?
I'm one of the NRF's Top Retail Voices for 2025 & a RETHINK Retail Top Retail Expert from 2021 – 2024. Thinkers 360 has named me a Top 10 Retail Thought Leader, Top 50 Management Thought Leader, & Top 100 Digital Transformation Thought Leader, plus a Top Digital Voice for 2024. I am also an advisory council member at George Mason University’s Center for Retail Transformation. I'm the founder of the Retail Razor Show podcast that helps retailers and retail tech providers cut through the clutter in the industry. Currently, I'm the Director, Partner Marketing for Retail & Consumer Goods at Microsoft where I lead Americas partner go-to-market. My goal is to help both retailers and retail tech solution providers understand current industry trends, especially around AI and retail media, and what they should be doing about it to help fuel growth in their business while maintaining the human connection with their customers. I've been part of the retail tech community for over two decades in both product and marketing roles that have allowed me to work with retailers in depth, understanding their business, and helping to make sense of complex and confusing technology. I've helped retail tech startups with their go-to-market strategy and advised retailers on digital transformation projects over the years. With my experience, I hope to give back to the industry and help others cut through the clutter and the noise to understand how to best use technology to solve retail problems from supply chain to e-commerce to customer experience and everything in between!

Hi, I’m Pete Nordstrom, and I'm the host of The Nordy Pod, a new podcast coming to you from the 6th floor of Nordstrom corporate headquarters in Seattle, Washington. In addition to hosting this podcast, I also happen to be the president of Nordstrom. And along with my brother Erik, CEO, and my cousin Jamie, President of Stores, we're the fourth-generation stewards of this business started by my great grandfather in 1901. My Nordstrom journey began when I was 12 years old with my first job working in the stockroom. And along the way, I’ve met so many incredible people, from iconic artists and CEOs to cultural and community leaders and fashion entrepreneurs—as well as many of our thousands of employees and millions of customers. One thing I've found helpful in running a company and hosting a podcast is the importance of having a strong sense of curiosity. Over the years, I’ve found myself in some very interesting conversations with people I greatly admire. These cumulative experiences have really enriched my life, and with The Nordy Pod, I'm excited to have the opportunity to share both professional and personal experiences with you. So join me on a journey as I take you deep into a business that also happens to be a public company. You'll go behind the scenes with me and hear firsthand exactly what I do in my day job, warts and all, in the hopes of making a human connection with every episode.
