Happy Podcasting! Thanks you for listening today, I really appreciate it! In the world on the "indie-hobby" podcaster I've noticed that most of you are not broadcasters. The friendly "chatcast" type of shows are fine, but from a listener perspective they dont seem to grab anybodys attention. There is nothing to dazzle the audience. There is a way of thinking that might help when you record your next episode. Think of how you can be a better Presenter versus having a simple conversation with friends.

In the vast world of podcasting, creators have the freedom to express their ideas, interview guests, and engage in insightful conversations. While many podcasters adopt a conversational approach with their guests or co-hosts, there is merit in adopting a broadcaster mindset and focusing on the audience. In this episode, we will explore the reasons why podcasters should consider projecting their content to the audience and why it can lead to a more impactful podcasting experience.

Broadcasters have a clear purpose—to entertain, inform, or inspire their audience. They craft their content to captivate and engage a wide range of listeners. Similarly, podcasters can benefit from adopting this mindset by understanding the importance of catering to their audience's needs and interests. By thinking like a broadcaster, podcasters can create content that resonates with their target demographic and offers value to a broader audience.

When podcasters shift their focus from personal conversations to projecting their content to the audience, they increase their chances of reaching a wider audience. Broadcasting content that is relatable and valuable to a diverse range of listeners can attract new followers and expand the podcast's reach. By considering the audience's perspective and tailoring the content accordingly, podcasters can maximize their impact and grow their listener base.
