Monzerrath Gaytan pensó que tenía todo lo necesario para ingresar a una buena universidad. Trabajó duro, obtuvo buenas calificaciones, e hizo trabajo extracurricular y voluntario. Pero cuando intentó matricularse, sus padres le contaron algo sobre su situación migratoria en Estados Unidos que haría ese sueño más complicado. Hello my name is Cat and I am one of the collaborators on this Dacamentation project. You probably heard my voice in episode 2 of the series. In Episode 2 I had the opportunity of interviewing Monzerrath Gaytan, one of the beneficiaries of the DACA program. As a guide in humanizing her story I was able to sit down and hear Monse’s story of working hard in order to achieve her educational goals despite difficulties in her situation here in the US.
