Join me, Aaron Covington, the co-writer of CREED, to talk about white movies. What is a white movie? It's simple! Movies made for and by white people. In America that's a vast majority of the movies! I am often joined by my good friend and cinephile Bernard Harris and in our movie reviews we ask one important question of these films and that is "How white is this movie?"
A journey down the lesser-known byways and alleyways of cinema, with a focus on British and American cinema of the 1960s and 1970s. Join Dr Laura Mayne and Dr Adrian Smith for insightful chat on films which deserve to be better known, along with special guests who bring their academic expertise to the discussion too.
Second Features is available on Acast, iTunes, Amazon Music, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Vurbl, YouTube, PodTail, Podcast Addict, Pocket Casts and Stitcher.

Join Nic Cage and JCVD enthusiasts Rob, Simon and James as they dig into a vault of underrated movies from yesteryear to see if they are rightly shunned to the bargain buckets of Asda, or whether they do indeed deserve reconsideration.
To qualify the week's film must either be classed as Rotten on RottenTomatoes.com, or officially be a box office bomb.

Wolf and David explore the history films we love or (or sometimes, films we’d loved just a little less but find interesting). Turns out we like different things...anyway, then we given them a score for two things – how good are they as a film, and how accurate are they with their history.
When you’ve listened, join us at the History of England Facebook Group – you can vote, and tell us what you think of the film, and you can even tell us (in no uncertain terms) what you think of our views (while writing to your MP in the strongest possible terms).

Join Courtney and Blair as they discuss classic movies, Hollywood history, and go off on pop culture tangents.
S2: On this season of More Than a Movie, host Alex Fumero takes us through some of our favorite films that have impacted Latino Cinema. From Andy Garcia’s 1990 breakout role in Godfather III to Natalie Morales’s 2021 double directorial debut with Plan B and Language Lessons, this podcast looks at the story behind the story of Latino movies over the last several decades. Every episode will reveal something about the movie you didn’t know, feature interviews with the biggest actors, directors, writers and producers behind them, and tap into the history of Latinos in film.
S1: When Edward James Olmos set out on his directorial debut, American Me, he wanted to accomplish two things: to represent Chicano culture on the big screen and to save part of his community from gang violence. But when people were allegedly murdered because of their participation in the film and Olmos himself was allegedly extorted by the real life Mexican Mafia, it exposed the unintended risks of trying to represent someone with an agenda in mind, even a well-meaning one. On the 30th anniversary of the cult classic, host Alex Fumero and producer Nigel Duara delve into the true story of American Me and the legacy the controversial film left behind.
