Welcome to one of the internet’s weirdest obsessions. Back in December of 2020, a nurse named Tiffany Dover fainted on camera while she was talking to reporters after getting her first COVID shot. She got right back up and gave another interview, but it was too late. A conspiracy theory was already racing around the world: Dover had died. She’d been replaced by a body double. And an ever-expanding list of conspirators was in on the cover-up, including the drug companies, the hospital, the media, and maybe even the Pope. Tiffany Dover is alive and well, but she’s stayed silent through it all. And now her story has been hijacked by total strangers trying to make people doubt the safety of the COVID vaccine. In this first season of Truthers, a podcast project about misinformation and conspiracy theories, NBC News reporter Brandy Zadrozny sets out to show what’s true and what isn’t—and how one person’s life became a weapon in a global information war.

Do you know anyone who doesn’t feel overwhelmed right now? Laura van Dernoot Lipsky is an internationally renowned trauma expert and bestselling author of Trauma Stewardship and The Age of Overwhelm. She has helped people and systems, for over three decades, find their way through really hard times. In this podcast, we will have conversations about what to do in the face of our overwhelm and how to do it, and we will be guided by listeners’ questions. Each week, Laura and a guest will discuss concrete strategies we can use to mitigate harm, cultivate our ability to bring our A-game to whatever we’re doing (or as close as we can get), and move beyond what can feel like permanent survival mode. Some weeks will be geared more towards adults, and others towards adolescents and anyone who loves, lives, or works with them. Together, we’ll focus on the merits of staying present, not missing out on today, and trying to avoid future tripping. We hope that Future Tripping will offer listeners insight into what is currently overwhelming them and tactical skills for both sustaining themselves and contributing, however much they’d like, to larger systemic and structural change.

Website: www.mannmela.in | One of the COVID-19’s most powerful effects has been its ability to hold up a mirror to our society, both, at a global level, but also a deeply personal one, showing us things in ourselves that we have long avoided or prefer not to see. While this pandemic will pass, we cannot expect life to simply return to the way it was before. It is more important than ever before for us to imagine futures in which the scars may remain, but we are changed by this experience to be more resilient and look to the future with hope. Welcome to "Stories From a Pandemic", a podcast by Sangath’s ‘It’s Ok To Talk’ project. Sangath is a leading mental health research and advocacy organization in India. Through each episode, we talk with young people across India about their experiences in the pandemic, and how despite the unprecedented circumstances they faced, they found ways to look ahead with hope. In each episode, we consider from a personal, research, and policy perspective, how the COVID-19 pandemic offers us a historic opportunity to examine a range of challenges related to how young people live, learn and work, and transform our approach to addressing their mental health concerns for the long-term. You can call Sangath's free tele-counselling helpline at 011-41198666 (10AM-4PM daily) for mental health support.

Our story tracks six individuals who must find their way to the relative safety of the nearest wilderness and escape the ensuing barbarism and disease. What ignited the contagion of hate and caused all hell to break loose? Who can be trusted? What horrors await them in the forests? How far must they go to find sanctuary?
