Who am I?
As TMNT enthusiast I found a few years back that there wasn’t enough good audio podcast content available for me to listen to, and with the Last Ronin coming up I decided to create one. I have been a Tmnt fan since seeing the comics and the cartoon in 1987, not to mention the toys. I discovered along the way that this is a wonderfully close community with a great group of fans. I always hope to honor that with our show Epic Tales from the Sewers.

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?
We cover the comics and read the stories for the IDW and Tmnt Adventures comics, and present them in a new way for listeners to enjoy. We also interview TMNT writers, artists and creators as well as other personalities who are close to the TMNT community.
What is my podcast playlist about?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, their stories, appearances in movie and video games and their pop culture impact.
1. Epic Tales From the Sewers Episode 1 Change is Constant.
Why this podcast?
It’s the starting point. It gives the new origin of the Turtles and Splinter in the IDW universe. The show hopefully gets you invested enough to go out and read the books yourself, but it’s also great to explore when you are on a long drive and can’t look at the pages of a comic.

In our first episode of the Epic Tales from the Sewers podcast, we cover the first issue of the 2011 IDW TMNT comic book series. We talk about some classic turtle stories and introduce the hosts to the audience. I cover the origin story for the Character "Old Hob" to familiarize the audience to the new character, and we have our "Mikey Moment" of the day and "Pizza Time" featuring a pizza recipe or pizza featured on the show or in the comic. As a bonus, we also cover the first issue of TMNT Adventures from Archie Comics too!
