Who am I?
I’m Sean! I host my own podcast, 103.9 The SEAN, which is a fictional radio station where we discuss current events, pop culture and my own life in a comedic way. I love many different types of podcasts and sports-related shows are just one genre I enjoy! In fact, I have 22 shows that I listen to regularly and some of them release multiple episodes per week so I’m always listening to everything on double speed! I have loved sports ever since I could remember. I was always outside playing sports, riding bikes, scooters, skateboards, climbing trees, and playing in the woods with all of my neighborhood friends. I also loved watching sports on television and attending live games when I could. My favorite three sports are hockey, which I still play to this day, football and baseball. Recently I have also become a fan of the Premier Lacrosse League.
What is my podcast playlist about?
My podcast playlist is about my five favorite sports podcasts. Some of them on this list always incorporate funny stories/topics for listeners to get to know the hosts even better. I look forward to these coming out weekly/daily and I’m always hitting play!
1. Spittin Chiclets
Why this podcast?
RA, Grinnelli, Paul Bissonette (former NHL player) and Ryan Whitney (former NHL player) do a tremendous job covering the NHL each week. What makes this show amazing though is how close the hosts are, how they share personal stories from their playing days or current lives, bust either others’ chops and just have fun. This show is also fantastic because they usually have at least one former or current NHL player/coach/executive etc. to discuss how they got involved with the game and share funny/crazy/amazing hockey stories. It’s a must-listen for any hockey fan!
