Who am I?

Podcast host and producer. I work in the industry so I like it when a podcast can feel like a vacation. I’m super busy and these days I have been very attracted to listening to smart funny people chat. Currently I don’t need a lot of production.

What is my podcast playlist about?

Smart conversation, some laughs. Silly mixed with some pop culture seriousness. Movies, music, food, with some issues thrown in.

The podcasts I picked and why

1. Pizza Pod Party

Why this podcast?

I host it with Arthur Bovino. Really fun conversations with some of our favorite people. Roy Wood Jr, Susan Orlean, Mo Rocca, Candace Bushnell, Andrew Zimmern, Michael Ian Black, and so much more. You can cover a lot when you talk pizza.

2. Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend

Why this podcast?

It’s basic, I know. But he’s been my hero for almost 30 years. This is a perfect platform for him. Smart and silly.

After 25 years at the Late Night desk, Conan realized that the only people at his holiday party are the men and women who work for him. Over the years and despite thousands of interviews, Conan has never made a real and lasting friendship with any of his celebrity guests. So, he started a podcast to do just that. Deeper, unboundedly playful, and free from FCC regulations, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend is a weekly opportunity for Conan to hang out with the people he enjoys most and perhaps find some real friendship along the way.

4. Political Beats

Why this podcast?

I am the opposite of a National Review reader, but what these conversations thankfully lack in politics, they make up for in long form geeky music dorkiness.

Why this podcast?

Their Siskel and Ebert series from 2021 was wonderful. Made me miss that duo more than I already had.
