The best podcasts for Dads to escape for an hour

We are 3 dad's who have known each other for 20+ years. We are good friends and have similar interests but have different opinions on a lot of things. Our passion is our family and our friendships. Our interest are sports, music, food, TV, cars, travel and movies. Because that's exactly what we are doing in the podcast. We absolutely love doing it vecause it gives us a break for an hour from all the stresses of being a dad. We discuss our family in the podcast but we also discuss things we would normally do if we just met up. It's just laughs, jokes, banter and arguments for an hour so we can relieve some dad life tension.

I wanted to.see my friends more. As we all have families and full time jobs it's got harder and harder for us to see each other as often as we would of liked. I found we were going months at a time before we would see each other. And then we did it was a kids birthday party or family event so although we got to talk we couldn't fit in everything we wanted. And so the podcast was made. Now we see each other ever week or 2 and get to catch up for your enjoyment. We discuss our families and all the fun wives and kids bring. We also discuss things we are interested in. It's a proper mixed bag. We always end on a random top 5 which we would love people to join in with on social media. Our lists are always so different which just shows how different we all are. Its 3 dad's with 3 different temperaments and attitudes to life, with similar interest but different looks on everything. What can go wrong?.

Our episodes are our catch ups since we last saw each other. It's our time to talk about things that have happened. If we didn't talk about it now the there'd be too much to talk about when we would finally meet up. It's called The MDP Podcast as it stands for Master, Disaster and Pasta. Alex is the Master as he thought of the name and thinks his life is better then ours. He also has a masters degree from Cambridge University. Me, Paul, is the disaster as apparently I haven't got my life together as well as the others. Yes my opinions are a bit more wild then the other 2s. And yes I might get a bit more worked up at things that happen in life. But I have a lovely wife, 2 kids and a dog named Dexter so my life is pretty perfect. And Chris is pasta. Because he's half Italian and has to let the world know. Like any true Italian he only has great things to say about the country. The country he's never lived in but has been to on holiday a couple of times.
