Who am I?

A long-time fan of animated movies/shows and casual podcaster. I love talking about my favorite animated films and series as well as listening to other animation aficionados and the stories of folks who worked in the animation industry. I chose this subject because I always loved animation from a young age and I love listening to podcasts that either talk about animated shows and movies or interviews from folks who worked in the animation industry. My experience hosting a podcast centered around one of my favorite cartoons as well as interviewing some of the folks who worked on the show bolstered my knowledge on animation history as well as the ins and outs of the industry.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

Poitcast - A Pinky and The Brain Podcast is a fan-made re-watch podcast in which my cohost and I review every single PATB episode over the four shows they appeared in as well as their legacy in pop culture. We also conduct interviews with many artists, directors, and writers who worked on Animaniacs and PATB. Many past interviews include Tom Ruegger, Barry Caldwell, Genevieve Tsai, Scott O'Brien, and Leonard Robinson. This show gels nicely with the other podcasts in this playlist since it focuses on an animated show, but also highlights some of the behind-the-scenes facts about the making of the show.

What is my podcast playlist about?

Animation appreciation. Reviews of various animated movies and shows and/or interviews with those who worked in the animation industry. Although I only picked five podcasts for this playlist, there are many other fantastic animation-centric podcasts out there that are worth listening to.

The podcasts I picked and why

In their podcast "Mystery Shack Lookback", they provide a historic timeline of Disney's first continuity-driven cartoon. A time capsule for old fans and a book club for new ones, they talk spoiler-free about the episodes, expanded universe media, and outdated fan theories.
