The best podcasts about mortal combat arcade games

Who am I?

Hey, I'm Jase and I work in digital marketing specialising in coding & SEO. I live in Melbourne wondering in hope that arcades will one day be cool again. I first fell in love with the 2D arcade versions of Mortal Combat & Street Fighter at the local arcade during the early 90's. The arcades were super popular known as Timezone in Australia (I think there are only a couple left still operating) Mortal Kombat pushed the boundaries of video game violence, featuring graphic and brutal fighting moves. The inclusion of "Fatalities," which allowed players to perform gruesome finishing moves, sparked controversy and attracted attention from both gamers and mainstream media. This controversial content generated significant interest and discussion, contributing to the game's popularity. It was bloody wild! Iconic characters like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, and Liu Kang resonated with players and became favorites of mine. Sub-Zero was my character of choice.

What is my podcast playlist about?

This podcast list is about Mortal Combat the game and those who continue to celebrate 90's arcade culture.
