The best podcasts about Common sense politics

Who am I?

I'm a US Navy veteran, a mailman, and a PA State Constable. I am middle-aged and a proud member of the middle class. In the past few years I have realized that I am also a constitutional originalist. About 5 years ago I realized that our government and our society had both gone off the rails. I felt I had to do something, so I wrote a short book called "Progress, Really?" Then, I began to blog. Several people suggested I start a podcast, so I launch Liberty Lighthouse. Then I wrote my second book, "So Simple Even A Politician Can Understand." My only expertise is that I have some common sense.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

Liberty Lighthouse is two hours of common sense and constitutional discussion. We cut the fog of politics with logic and common sense.

What is my podcast playlist about?

These are are shows that apply common sense to politics. Some of them are serious shows and some use humor, but all have a conservative, libertarian, or constitutional perspective. Make common sense common again!

The podcasts I picked and why

1. The Daily Mojo with Brad Staggs

Why this podcast?

Brad & Ron discuss the news of the day, every weekday morning. They make me laugh with their sometimes sophomoric humor.

The Daily Mojo with Brad Staggs and Producer Ron is your first look each weekday, at the news, politics, faith, and absurdity that America is fast becoming. Brad and Producer Ron Phillips lens it all through a filter of truth, cynicism, and laughter (that’s getting tougher by the minute).
Their core value – We The People are at the heart of these United States and WE need to wrest our power back from the DC swamp dwellers. If you believe in freedom, personal responsibility, and individual rights, you may have found soulmates.
The Daily Mojo is life in the Conservatarian lane each weekday from 8-10a ET at TheDailyMojo.com, Mojo 5-0 Radio, and wherever you get your favorite podcasts! Follow @RealBradStaggs @RealRonPhillips

Why this podcast?

Paul is very good at quoting laws, bills, cases, and the Constitution. He talks about the limited government our founders intended and then quotes from modern bills and laws exposing how they are extra-constitutional.
