Who am I?
After being a licensed airline transport pilot for over 11 years, with over 6,000 flight hours accumulated, I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder, general anxiety disorder and social anxiety disorder. Immediately my life stopped as I lost my pilot's license due to my medical certificate becoming invalid, and therefore my career I have been building was instantly gone. Through therapy I discovered cannabis as an option for me and alongside traditional antidepressants, cannabis is the main reason I am still alive today. Besides my love for aviation and cannabis, space is the next biggest thing for me. There is nothing more I love doing than stargazing on a clear night with a joint, just waiting for, and sometimes seeing, strange things in the sky. I started a podcast about all of this so I could use it as an outlet. I never did have friends, especially where I was a sheltered child, so the podcast is the most open I've been to anyone besides my wife. I love it if you have joined in with me for this journey! I lost my aviation medical certificate as a commercial airline pilot due to my mental health diagnoses and therefore had to forego the rest of my 11 year old aviation career. Albeit it fairly short, I amassed over 6,000 flight hours all across Canada. When I lost my license, I was able to turn to cannabis as a treatment, so I had the opportunity to quickly become somewhat of a connoisseur and thought I would share my thoughts on this, my aviation career, and my favourite thing in and out of this world, space!

A continuation of the book Higher Connections: Humor and Inspiration from a Certified Public Pothead, this podcast will elaborate on Alexandra and my experiences while high, talk about some of the things in the book like what causes our insane connections while high, what might that mean for our beliefs in God, our views on life after death and some other funny and asinine topics. We keep it short and sweet - I promise - and I hopefully avoid getting myself kicked in the balls by something stupid I say. Hope you enjoy - if you want to reach out, please do so at [email protected]

4. The Cannabis Potcast
Why this podcast?
This "potcast" is one of my favourites, for sure. It has a real life, charming conversationalist host who is passionate about the flower, the industry and education behind it. As a fellow Canadian, I am proud to say we have cannabis federally legalized here since 2017. It is a huge step toward the world knowing more, to destigmatize the flower, just like Gary does in this podcast.

5. This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von
Why this podcast?
Theo Von doesn't talk about cannabis, however I would NEVER make a list of favourites without him on it. This podcast was the TOP reason that I started my podcast, and the main inspiration behind it. His lighthearted serious talk brings the curtains down around all his guests, and mostly himself in his solo episodes. If you haven't, check out Theo and his guests today!
