The WGR Report - Alien Abductions and More

The WGR Report - Alien Abductions and More

Wes G. Roberts

Ipsos says half of the US population believe in aliens. NYMag.com ran an article called "Reasons to Believe." Whatever your belief in alien life forms -- ultraterrestrial, extraterrestrial, interdimensional -- I will speak about my interests in the wide field of UFOlogy, my personal experiences with alien life forms, the sub-field and reality of abductions, the military industrial complex (MIC), and much more.

After 20 years of turmoil, coming to Know -- not merely to believe -- that I was an alien abductee and experiencer was oddly reassuring. The journey to that point was anything but. When I arrived at a point where I felt I wasn't functioning properly, and was severely sleep-deprived (and afraid to go to sleep some nights), I knew I had to tell more people than my wife. I selectively began to share my secret identify. That blossomed to appearances at major public events, and in a way culminated with the launch of my first (co-authored) book, where a member of the national press was there to cover the story. Since then, a website, more interviews, and a second book that's now with the editor. Please listen in if you want to know more about my journey of personal disclosure.

While being fascinated by UFOlogy much of my life, and having tried to get involved in it, in an organized way, I was not prepared for a 1980s experience I had, and remembered. Consciously-recalled, and not a dream, not imagination, not a vision, it changed my life. But for over 20 years after it, I would not seek out validation, or attempt to understand it more deeply. It got to the point where that haunting experience, and many, many others, started to interfere with my logical, analytical work-a-day life as a college professor who taught very left-brain topics; things like how to use computer applications and how to organize and write business letters. Then, after talking to a friend, I decided to seek help. It was not an attempt to seek closure, and in fact, that won't happen. So after dismissing 'alien abductees' out of hand for a long time, I finally knew I was one of them.
