3. Charlie Rocket Jabaley - Former Manager of 2Chainz, Iron Man Athlete, Speaker, Entrepreneur
The Souhail Show
12/15/19 • 46 min
Charlie "Rocket" Jabaley has worn a lot of hats. He is the former manager of rapper 2Chainz, hip hop group Travis Porter, Young Dolph, the late Bankroll Fresh, and many more. His efforts as their manager earned him tons of money, material success, and even a Grammy award along the way. But as Charlie himself puts it, the bigger his career got, the bigger he did. After tipping the scales at over 300 lbs, he found out that he had a brain tumor. He immediately made monumental shifts in his life, leaving his business immediately, moving to Los Angeles, and going vegan in pursuit of his sheltered but very real childhood dream of becoming an athlete. Since that point, Charlie has lost over 120 lbs, reversed the effects of his brain tumor, completed an Iron Man (one of the hardest athletic accomplishments on Earth), biked across America, and appeared in the groundbreaking and culture-shifting Colin Kaepernick Nike Just Do It commercial along the likes of LeBron James and Serena Williams. He is currently a public speaker and podcast host, and will continue to challenge himself and strive for success.
