Sometimes, we need a little emotional pick-me-up. We’re worried or stressed out, and we just can’t seem to calm down our feverish thoughts.
You can try meditation, yoga, prayer, or other mindfulness practices. But, if you’re like me—one of those people who wonders “how long do I need to sit in this silence” when attempting meditation—there’s an easy hack that can help. It’s a little something called the positive mantra. Positive affirmations are a powerful way to calm anxiety and give you a little confidence boost.
But, not all mantras are good for you. There’s one popular mantra that’s actually quite toxic and should be avoided at all costs.
I share the mantra to avoid and why in this episode.
