WE'RE BACK!!!!! In this episode we talk about scotch eggs and Cat S implores us to get ourselves down to waitrose to experience a Chorizo scotch egg. Cat W, alternatively, tries to convince us all to join Christian Twitter. We gradually move onto something worth talking about light and hope at Christmas.

In this episode we talk to 4 members of a musical collective called Joyful Noise (NB not the movie musical or the Canadian rock/fusion band). These classical music-denying folk are trying their hand at being Britain's next big thing on the Christian music scene. Not really, they're just trying to make some half-decent music for Christians to sing in church. They tell us a bit about how lockdown brought them together, what kind of music they're putting out and Cat S put them in their place about worship bands.
Sarah keeps it classy with some Pepsi (MAX) and overall we just have a lovely time getting to know UKAlight.
You can hear their bonus Christmas song at the end of the episode, and if you like it, head over to YouTube and all the other socials to follow them so you can keep up to date with their up- coming sell-out gigs.

In this episode we talk to Fun Sexy Bible Time co-host Matthew Pierce. If you're already put off, that might be for the best... We try - and fail - to find out who he REALLY is and talk about his obsession with bringing down Christian twitter using the anecdotes and sound advice from his home school and youth pastor respectively. Matthew tells us what it's like to be a literal Goliath amongst men, humours us by playing a Christian Power Ratings game, reveals that he owns a Christian version of Monopoly and we discuss which Lord of the Rings character Beth Moore is most like.

In this episode we talk with friend of the podcast, Laura. Laura takes us back to the moment that she found her son, Daniel, had fallen in to a pond. Daniel ultimately passed away and Laura tells us how the mercy of God has gone before her as she has walked the path of grief. Laura's story is such a powerful display of the power a Christian can have in the face of death and we hope you listen and are as moved and encouraged as we were.

In the Plumb Line's own Ted Talk we discuss popular culture with our usual plumbs ready to dangle! We talk about how and why Christians should and can enjoy popular culture and all of the trimmings that come with it! In Ted's own words "more people are into Miley then are into Brahms" so how can we make sure that we're not hiding ourselves away afraid to let ourselves enjoy it.
