Today I’m joined by Joree Rose, a marriage and family therapist to talk about how mindfulness can help you solve almost any issue and how you can use mindfulness strategies and practices in your own life. She also chats with me about creating a life of meaning and joy.
Growing up in a traumatic childhood, Joree carried around anxiety and fear for many years, which made her dependent on others and prevented her from growing. “For so many years, fear and anxiety drove my decisions.”
When she realized she was living in fear, she quickly decided to change her mindset to live in alignment with the mindset values she was teaching at the time. Joree recognized that she had to stop believing every thought that crossed her mind, and she would need to shift her belief that the future is scary.
