This was the fifth episode of The Abbott and Costello Show. It aired July 31, 1940 and is the earliest available recording of the program. The lead sketch featured Madame La Zonga’s School of Dance, more than likely inspired by the song, Six Lessons from Madame La Zonga, recorded earlier that same year.
