In this episode I will talk about the term "Rock Bottom" and what that has meant for me. Addiction can drag us to some of the lowest points in our life and keep us there if we let it, it takes extreme courage and strength to recover from these circumstances, but it is very possible. I will offer my advice on how to deal with hitting rock bottom and my experience hitting rock bottom when I was drinking. Do not let your addiction control you forever, it is easier said then done, but I promise you things will get better even if you make the smallest of efforts to get sober/clean.
If you are trying to get sober or are new to sobriety, go easy on yourself, take it one day at a time (sometimes one minute at a time). Recovery/sobriety takes time and constant effort, it never takes a day off, but I know neither will you. It won't be easy but you got this.
