We learned that there are multiple cuts of the episode. For most viewers, we strongly recommend the 45min cut that is streaming on Peacock TV.
When a ship jumps into DRADIS range broadcasting Colonial transponder codes, our crew is understandably skeptical. But is it a dream, or did another Battlestar really survive the Cylon attack? That's cause for celebration, right?! Definitely nothing will go wrong when an ambitious young admiral with a history of cruel decision-making takes control of the fleet. Let's be honest here - we love you Michelle Forbes, but we already hate Admiral Cain.
Not for the first - or last - time, we marvel at Tricia Helfer's range as an actor, and EJO's imposing presence even when he's no longer in charge. This cast is brilliant!
Here's the list of the scenes you're missing if you're watching the show on Peacock. We're still not totally clear on where/if these aired in the first place, but a few of them do provide some context, and as we learn in this episode, it's always important to consider the context.

Back on Caprica, Helo makes the rookie mistake of opening the fridge in Kara's apartment, while Kara finds a cigar that somehow isn't totally dried out. Also, we learn our girl Starbuck is totally a tortured artist with great taste in music (spoiler - it's Bear McCreary).

In this bonus episode, Andrea's in the CIC with her most trusted science advisor Daniel Cohen (there's no way in hell y'all thought that might be Gaius Baltar) to talk about space travel, special relativity, and why "FTL drives" may be a bit of a misnomer. And even though we're missing SC1 Actual Caleb and our XO, Kitzy, Dr. Cohen makes sure there's at least ONE Futurama reference in this episode.
In his own words, Daniel is "just what every Battlestar Galactica podcast needed: a white man with a graduate STEM degree and some opinions. A PhD protein chemist who sort of remembers undergrad physics and wanted to be on a podcast."
In reality, Daniel is a smart scientist who is good at teaching science stuff to non-science people with little goldfish brains, and we had a super fun time trying to figure out if the BSG fleet really is traveling faster than light.
