4 - Horizon: Forbidden West - Initial Impressions
Hello again! I'm back with another episode of The PLNX Games Podcast and this one, is all about Horizon: Forbidden West. It's a game I was eagerly waiting for and it finally launched a little over a week ago.I managed to play it for about 15 hours and I thought I'd share my impressions with you. As you might imagine, it feels I've barely scratched the surface of the game and there is still so much more to explore. But, I've got a good feel of the main aspects of the game, especially the story, the characters, the quests, the graphics, and the combat. So, you will hear me talk about all of those things.Above all, you will also hear me talk about the 'essence' of the game! Something that I feel truly makes this game a proper sequel and how Guerrilla Games have tapped into that 'essence.'TL;DR version: It's awesome and I cannot wait to delve deeper into the world of Horizon: Forbidden West.As always, please feel free to get in touch with me over on Twitter, Instagram, or YouTube. Please share the podcast with anyone you know might be interested in gaming. As you know, I'm just starting out and it'll help me out if your friends take the time to tune in. Thank you so much!-----Intro/Outro Music:"Wah Game Loop" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Support the show

6 - Spartacus officially revealed, Horizon: Forbidden West Review, PlayStation acquires Haven Studios, The sequel to The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild delayed
It feels weird to start a podcast description with the words 'as discussed' but here we are.On today's episode:As discussed in the last episode, Sony has now officially revealed details about Project Spartacus. That's not what they're calling it. That was just an internal codename that had leaked. It's simply the 'New PlayStation Plus' which now has tiers which I describe in detail and I also explain why I feel the base tier is still the best value for most gamers.I review Horizon: Forbidden West after spending a little over 49 hours with it and finishing the main story.I talk about why Sony's acquisition of Haven studios feels different than their other acquisitions. The delay of the sequel to The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (bummer, I know). As usual, here are all the links for your reference:PlayStation Spartacus is official:PS Blog post: https://blog.playstation.com/2022/03/29/all-new-playstation-plus-launches-in-june-with-700-games-and-more-value-than-ever/Gamesindustry interview with Jim Ryan, CEO of PlayStation: https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2022-03-28-playstations-jim-ryan-our-games-could-suffer-if-we-put-them-straight-into-ps-plusPlayStation acquires Haven Studios:https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2022-03-21-jade-raymond-and-hermen-hulst-on-why-sony-is-buying-havenhttps://www.havenstudios.com/enBOTW 2 delayed:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_vgseuw_o8As always, please feel free to get in touch with me over on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube or Discord.
