Discover Sedona with RCX Mountain Bike Adventures
Outdoor Adventure Series
05/27/22 • 37 min
Hello everyone. Welcome back for another episode of the Outdoor Adventure Series Podcast.
The Outdoor Adventure Series celebrates individuals & families, businesses, and organizations that seek out and promote the exploration, stewardship, and enjoyment of the great outdoors.
Our guest today is Rod Ciardullo.
Rod is the Founder and Chief Exercise Officer at RCX Mountain Bike Adventures. For over 20 years, he has been creating and implementing custom, personalized fitness programs for busy professionals that have helped them transform their lives.
Aha Moment
On our first Sedona trip, we had the bronze medalist of the 2021 Mountain Biking World Championships in the 60 to 69-year-old division on our trip. After the second day, he declared, "That was the most spectacular day of riding I have ever had!" My reply was, "That's amazing, but I think you will change your mind tomorrow since that ride will be even more spectacular."
Insight2Go
I like to tell my online fitness clients to book or sign up for something that is bigger and bolder than their comfort zone. Something that gets them out of bed in the morning and into the gym, or on the bike to better prepare for the event. Something that pulls them away from the 9 pm double scoop of ice cream, and has them committed to being a better version of themselves. I like to say, "The magic happens outside of your comfort zone!"
