It's the first Multiversity Manga Club episode of the month, which means we're looking back at the month of May in Shonen Jump! This month we talk about the first chapter of "The Hunter's Guild: Red Hood," as well as the end of "i tell c." And, of course, we have a brief discussion of the unofficial "rankings" per the Shonen Jump table of contents. It’s the middle of the month --and Zach is back from paternity leave! -- so “One Piece Club,” our ongoing catch-up of “One Piece," is back! In this we cover chapters 525-550, comprising the entirety of the Impel Down arc. Multiple characters return as Luffy makes his way through the Navy's (supposedly) inescapable prison, including a certain someone who is cemented as Walt's favorite character. We'll be back in a month with chapters 551-580, a sizable chunk of the epic Marineford arc, and you can read along with us with the #OnePieceClub hashtag on Twitter. In the meantime Walt and Emily will be back in a few weeks to discuss July in Shonen Jump.
