The Multiversity Manga Club is switching up formats yet again! In this episode we continue "One Piece Club," replacing our regular book club with an ongoing catch-up of "One Piece." In this episode we discuss the Drum Island arc (chapters 130-154), which introduces new crew member Tony Tony Chopper. With how much we talk about the arc's antagonist, Wapol, you'd think he was the most important character introduced in this arc. Next month we start the Alabasta arc, covering chapters 155-180. Episode 51: One Piece Club, Alabasta Part 1

It's the middle of the month, so you know what that means: time for more" One Piece Club," our ongoing catch-up of "One Piece!" In this episode we discuss the first half of the Alabasta arc (chapters 155-180). This is the largest arc yet, but in terms of size it pales in comparison to some of the later arcs (ahem, Dressrosa). We particularly discuss the introduction of two great characters, Crocodile and Mr. 2 Bon Clay, whether or not Sanji is actually cool, and overall the massive leap in quality this arc represents.
