The Price You Pay for College with Ron Lieber
05/25/21 • 37 min
Ron Lieber has been the “Your Money” columnist for The New York Times since 2008. Before coming to The Times, he wrote the “Green Thumb” personal finance column for The Wall Street Journal and was part of the start-up team at the paper’s Personal Journal section. Ron’s newest book is called The Price You Pay for College: An Entirely New Roadmap for the Biggest Financial Decision Your Family Will Ever Make. The book is a culmination of his 15 years of personal finance reporting. The Price You Pay for College asks education leaders questions that families don’t know (or are afraid) to ask, puts the surprisingly small amount of existing data on this topic into context, and pulls back the curtain on how schools set prices.
