Conversation with Carlos Gonzalez de Villaumbrosia, the Founder and CEO of Product School. We invited Carlos to our podcast because he has an interesting journey building global companies and digital products and this is a subject we’d like to bring to our podcast.
Technically he’s not a Latino, but a Hispanic since Carlos is from Spain, and we think we share a lot of similarities with each other. We talked about his journey, entrepreneurship and of course Product Management. Carlos has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Industrial Management, and Computer Science. He also studied Global Business Management and Marketing at UC Berkeley.

How can we create more inclusive environments? Why do we have only 3% of Latinxs working in tech in the United States? How do we know some solutions might be experienced differently by marginalized groups or groups outside your own? Diversity has the goal to bring more people to the table, and decolonizing is more about proposing an exercise to influence the way we think.
Guidione Machava - Entrepreneur, Designer and Author; Jane Vita - Designer Lead at VTT; and Thaisa Fernandes - Podcast Host & Producer and Program Manager, will explore colonialism's effect on design standards in regards to the influence of ideas perception and also representation in different industries, especially tech.
