KDMEO Episode 44 - Fight My Way (쌈 마이웨이) 11-12

Judy and Linda laugh and cry at episodes 11 and 12 of "Fight My Way" (쌈 마이웨이), starring Park SeoJoon, Kim JiWon, Ahn JaeHong and Song HaYoon.

Linda tries not to give away any spoilers and spends the whole time being shifty-eyed whenever Judy tries to speculate. Judy ponders if Yejin (Pyo YeJin) is some sort of innocent-faced mastermind. Linda cried over Dongman's dad (Song ByungHo) while Judy squirreled away all of Seolhee's (Song HaYoon) best lines to use when she goes on a righteous rampage.

Some Korean terms:

떡: [ddeok] sticky rice cake; can be sweet or savoury depending on how you make it.

팥빙수: [pat-bing-soo] shaved ice with red bean and other toppings; there are many different toppings and flavours nowadays.

무지개떡: [moo-ji-geh-ddeok] rainbow rice cake.

꿀떡: [ggool-ddeok] honey rice cake.

인절미: [in-jul-mi] rice cake with sweet bean powder

송편: [song-pyun] rice cake formed into dumpling shape with variety of sweet filling.

시집 못간다: [si-jip-mot-gan-da] older way of saying "You won't be able to get married" in reference to a woman. For a man, it would be "장가 못간다" [jang-ga-mot-gan-da].

까칠하다: [gga-chil-ha-da] cranky; easily annoyed.

흙수저: [heuk-soo-juh] "dirt spoon", as compared to being a "silver spoon".

도라지즙: [do-ra-ji-jeup] platycodon; in Korea, roots are usually made into side dishes.

수박: [soo-bak] watermelon.
