For the first episode of Jam Sessions I am joined by Daniel Coulbourne, a software developer who is running his own development and project management agency called, Thunk, while also building games and products using an open-source Laravel package that he is the co-creator and maintainer of called, Verbs. We sit down to talk all things event sourcing and how Verbs tries to simplify some of the concepts that have been associated with traditional event sourcing over the years to make it more approachable and easier to work with.

Jam Sessions - 000 — Welcome to Jam Sessions (Trailer)
play

09/27/24 • 2 min

Hi, I’m Ryan Hefner and I’d like to welcome you to, Jam Sessions! A weekly–ish show that will be lived streamed on both Twitter and YouTube. The show will dive into to what people are working on, whether it is a side project, their business, an open-source package or tool they are building, or trying to advance their career—or start a whiskey brand! The goal of the show is to focus on passion and what inspires and fuels it. We may deep dive into craft as well, who knows.

Since most shows will be lived stream, we welcome you to jump in on the conversation by posting your comments or questions and we’ll try to address them live. Who knows, you might even be asked to turn on your camera and mic and join the show. We’ll see how it goes.

To get notified when the streams are going live, please follow on Twitter or subscribe on YouTube, and I hope to see you at the next show.

And, you can find all the videos or podcast episodes at jamsessions.fm.
