In this offering, I'm sharing my personal notes and contemplations about the week ahead. Combining astrology, tarot, the Akashic & Cosmic Body perspectives, and guidance from my sacred ancestors, healing guides and my own spirit, I hope these messages will serve you as you walk your path.
While this contemplation was inspired by the energy and the astrology of the week of 03.27.23, I also offer the possibility that that the message here is relevant for you - even if you found the episode sometime in the future.

Join me for this lively impromptu conversation with my dear friend, Zaneta Sykes. We originally recorded this conversation for Instagram Live (you can watch the video version here). I ended up really loving the transmissions that came through so I decided to share this with all of you here, too.

We discussed what Zaneta's Virgo Moon has taught them about artmaking and relationality through the practice of deep listening, how we can cultivate the energy of Virgo to its most expansive and life-giving expression, and also some ritual ideas for today's Virgo Full Moon.

After listening, participants will co-create an original sound piece which will serve as a sonic offering to the forest, that will later be played back to every river, stream, ridge, cave, and tree that shared their songs. So that the entire project is a full circle, reciprocal exchange of listening and transmission between community and forest.

What might Pluto's seismic shift into Aquarius bring into our psyche, our lives, and the collective? What regenerative visions are available for our transformations? What is the textures, shape, and taste of the challenges that may await us?

My guest in conversation today is the brilliant evolutionary astrologer and my dear friend, Verena Borell. We discussed and evoked the archetype of Pluto in Aquarius, which will slowly emerge starting March 2023. We mused on the slow, intense transit of Pluto in Aquarius, its role as the bridge between Pluto in Capricorn and Pluto in Aquarius, and the transformation on both the personal and collective we may witness and birth in the coming years.

What does 'astrology as praxis' mean? How do we invite our whole selves to learn and apply astrology in our lives? What does it mean to remember our participation in the cosmic body?

In this conversation, Britten LaRue and I mused on the title of our upcoming year-long astrology learning container: Astrology as Praxis. We discussed how this concept came to us, why it feels so meaningful as two mystic-astrologers who came from long backgrounds of good ol' academia, and the ways that synthesizing astrological concepts into our daily lives as humans have helped us heal and dream new realities.

We also discussed the implication of considering the concept of astrology as praxis on our facilitation style, and we break down the juicy subtitle of this course: Remembering our Participation in the Cosmic Body.
