Gibraltar Heritage Trust Podcast04/20/22 • 23 min
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War and three of our podcasts look at the 65 hour conversion of the SS Uganda into a hospital ship and the work carried out at HM Dockyard. Throughout the war a young Gibraltarian Michael Sanchez decided he would keep a diary of the events. His first entry was the day of the invasion 2nd April 1982. Michael has kept the diary all these years and joins Alice Mascarenhas in the last of the Falklands War podcasts.
