Loren Lott can do it all, she’s an actress, singer, dancer, and digital creator. She’s been seen on Broadway, tv and film. Her following on social media platforms is unparalleled, where she boasts a huge engagement in the millions across her social media platforms and a resume of heavy-hitting Hollywood roles on both the stage and screen, Loren has crafted a career that has unmistakably defined her status as a rising voice of a new generation of Hollywood.
This spring 2023, Loren can currently be seen starring opposite Chlöe Bailey, Tristen Mack Wilds, Quavo, and Anjelika Washington in the Universal Pictures feature film “Praise This,” available to stream now on Peacock.
Her voice captured national attention when she enchanted audiences with her live performances on season 14 of ABC’s longstanding competition series, “American Idol,” and ascended into the top 16 finalists. Combining her passion for both singing and acting, Loren joined the theatre scene. For the next few years, Loren performed on stage with touring and Broadway productions such as Gladys Night in “Motown the Musical,” Ti Moune in “Once on This Island,” and Cece Winans in “Born for This.”
Upon her move back to the west coast in Los Angeles, she was quickly snapped up to join the cast of the Emmy award-winning daytime soap opera “The Young and the Restless” as Ana Hamilton from 2018-2019. Following her time on the soap opera, Loren began to add back-to-back television and film bookings to her growing list of credits, including the role of the popular cabaret singer Lucy Conrad in “The Porter,”. In addition, she starred as Cydney Wesley in “A Wesley Christmas,” The sequel “A Wesley Christmas Wedding” is due to be released shortly. Other notable film and television credits include Ava DuVernay’s “Cherish the Day”, “Favorite Son”, “The Products of the American Ghetto” and Kirk Franklin’s “The Night Before Christmas”.
As quickly as Loren’s Hollywood career began to blossom, so did her remarkable rise to social media stardom. From detailing her life in vulnerable, personal reflections to cracking witty jokes and quips, and even showcasing her impressive vocal range and acting talents throughout her short-form content, Loren’s digital presence grew drastically as she garnered well over one million followers in just a year.
