Getting regulators, policymakers and other stakeholders on your side
Frontier Tech Talks
04/21/20 • 17 min
Many countries are starting to experiment with drones for social and economic development. For those pioneering or working on these projects, getting those in charge of policy and regulation involved and on the same side is one of the most important - and hardest - parts of the job.
In this episode, we’re joined by Susana Moreira from the NGO Village Reach. A scientist by training, Susana has been operating the largest, most complex drone project in Mozambique’s history. Here, she talks about how she worked with the policy makers and regulators in the country.

In this episode, we’re joined by Ben Britton from Field Ready. Ben talks about how he approached this problem in his work growing a 3D printing sector in Nepal.
